MONTHLY SALARY
- QAR 12800 (about US$ 3516) minimum for Clinical Nurse / Midwife Specialists
- QAR 5600 (about US$ 1538) minimum for Graduate Registered Nurses and Midwives

QUALIFICATIONS
- MSc or MAN in Nursing or Midwifery (or in the field of health practice) for Clinical Nurse / Midwifery Specialists
- BSc in Nursing or Midwifery (or in the field of health practice) for Graduate Registered Nurses and Midwives
CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE – FOR ALL POSITIONS
- Valid Philippines nursing licence and be eligible for licensing in the Supreme Council for Health State of Qatar
- Relevant life support / resuscitation certificates preferred but HMC will provide an opportunity to undertake this certification as part of orientation
- For midwives, a valid midwifery licence that meets the requirements for licensing in the State of Qatar
- A valid drivers licence for Home Health Care Service nurses only
EXPERIENCE
Clinical Nurse / Midwifery Specialists:A minimum of 5 years post nursing registration experience, including a minimum of 3 years experience in a specialty area and including 1 year as a Clinical Nurse / Midwifery Specialist
Graduate Registered Nurses and Midwives:A minimum of 2 years of recent clinical hospital experience
Applicants with recent experience in large and/or JCI accredited hospitals will be prioritized
Hamad Medical Corporation would also like to hear from nurses with supervisory experience, whether they have a Masters degree or not.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE URGENTLY REQUIRED BY HMC
Paediatrics (female only), emergency department, gastroenterology, peri-operative, enhanced recovery, burns, tissue viability/wound care, pain management, adult ED, adult ICU, critical care, PACU, PICU, OR, ambulatory, midwives
Nurses from specialist areas such as diabetes, tissue viability, respiratory and cardiology will be highly regarded
HMC is also looking for nurses with critical care/outreach and advanced resuscitation (instructing level experience) skills
HMC MOBILE HEALTHCARE PROGRAM
HMC also requires Clinical Nurse / Midwifery Specialists for their Early Supported Discharge Programme. The HMC Mobile Healthcare group wants to recruit a team of nurses to work alongside mobile doctors. The skills aspects for these roles are:
- leading and managing a team of nurses working in the community
- providing training and education within specialist areas to other nurses, paramedics, doctors and those outside the Ambulance Service of HMC
- input to the clinical care and plans for patients in accordance with their specialist interest
In addition to the qualifications and experience listed above, nurses for the mobile healthcare program must have:
- at least 2 years community nursing experience and at least 1 year of teaching and education within the nursing field, preferably in diabetes, tissue viability, respiratory (COPD and Asthma) and cardiology
- a post-graduate certificate or diploma in one of the following: diabetes, tissue viability, respiratory (COPD and Asthma) and cardiology
Arabic language and competent IT skills are desirable
