According to the Secretary of Labor, Rosalinda Baldoz, there are viable business opportunities waiting for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who will return to the Philippines and that is in the field of agribusiness. The Secretary advises Filipinos abroad specifically those that are affected by crisis whether economic or political in Europe and Middle East to go home and invest in agribusiness.

In line with the decision of Taiwan to suspend the deployment of Filipino workers, the Secretary of the Labor Department, Rosalinda Baldoz ordered the creation of a Help Desk dedicated for queries and assistance request of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) that are affected by the hiring freeze in Taiwan.
