The resolution, with Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member Enerio Sabulao as the principal author, is now waiting for approval at the SP Eastern Samar. The resolution provides a Five Hundred Thousand Peso Allocation (P500,000) exclusively for the utilization of aspiring OFW.
Sabulao said that the amount can be applied for by any person who seeks employment abroad but does not have money for placement fees.

Applicants are only required to submit a co-maker who has the capacity to pay back the amount he loaned, in case he fails to pay back the amount he spent in the processing of the documents.
Sabulao, on the other hand, hopes that the next set of board members in the coming election will pursue the program since it would be a great help for poor individuals who wish to be employed abroad but lacks money to fund the application process.
