The Philippine Embassy in Brunei, with the coordination of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) is offering a First Aid and Cardiovascular Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to the Filipino workers in the said country.

The said course was first offered last June 9 and will be repeated on the 24^th. The course was conducted at the Philippine Embassy Chancery by Dr. Colin David of Riverview Medical Clinic.

The Philippine Ambassador, Virginia H. Benavidez is asking all OFWs in the Sultanate to participate and grab in this invaluable opportunity. This offer will give them a chance to enhance their knowledge and skills on First Aid and CPR. Likewise they can use if an emergency arises.

“It is very important that Filipino workers in Brunei learn First Aid and CPR techniques as these would undoubtedly prove useful throughout their lives. We are grateful to Dr. Reynolds and the nurses from Riverview Medical Clinic for their generous assistance and sharing their talents and resources for this timely and laudable endeavor,” said the Philippine Ambassador.
