Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in Western Mindanao together with Jollibee Freemont Foods will be conducting a two-day job fair on May 1 and 2. The said event will be held at parking lots of Jollibee Veterans Avenue branch on May 1 and Jollibee Governor Camins branch on May 2, according to the DOLE Director of the region, Chita Cilindro.

This program aims to assist jobseekers in finding gainful employment as applicants can submit their resume and can get hired on the spot.

Vacancies for local and overseas jobs from various companies total a number of 4,065. However overseas employment remains to be the most viable option for Filipinos as majority of job openings are for foreign employers.

Fourteen placement agencies are participating and 3,385 overseas jobs will be provided. Job sites will be in the United States of America, Qatar, Bahrain, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait
