Charge d’ affaires, Ricardo Endaya, of the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait, recommend the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to issue an advisory to all the Filipino who wants to find works in Kuwait.

The said advisory was a warning to all the Filipinos bound to Kuwait not to use a tourist visa instead, use working visa to find work in the said country.

The DFA said that the Kuwaiti immigration is very strict with employment documents.

"The Department of Foreign Affairs advises all Overseas Filipino Workers bound for Kuwait to possess the proper work permits and residence visas and not tourist visas in order to avoid problems with immigration authorities in that Middle East country," the DFA said in a statement.

The advisory with use of working visa is not for Kuwait only, instead to all foreign countries to avoid any problem that might arise with the immigration authorities of the host county.
