DFA's OFW Lane in Robinsons Galleria Soon to Open
Jul 11, 2016
Overseas Filipino workers or OFWs can process their passport faster as one DFA Satellite Office will give service only for them.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced that they will modify their satellite office at Robinsons Galleria and transform it to be a courtesy lane for OFWs.
The DFA OFW lane in Robinsons Galleria will allow all OFWs with no appointments to process their passports. Online appointment schedule take months and a hassle for OFWs who needs to go back abroad right away.
Strategically located just across the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Building, OFWs can soon attend to passport matters after processing documents at the DFA Robinsons Galleria OFW Lane.
Even without an online appointment schedule, OFWs will just have to provide these primary documents for passport processing or renewal:
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Valid ID
- Old passport
- Employment Contract or OEC
- Exit Clearance and,
- Plane tickets.
Still undergoing renovation, DFA will announce when the OFW lane in Robinsons Galleria will be available to serve the OFWs.
