OFW’s Must be Careful of Summer Heat in Saudi

Overseas Filipino workers in Saudi Arabia were reminded by the Philippine Embassy to take extra precaution while working or travelling on the road.
Since it’s summer time now in the kingdom, OFWs are advise to take care of their health by:

drinking enough water
-
exercising to burn fats from the food they eat

avoid staying under too much heat of the sun, and

Sadly, an OFW died of heat stroke in Qassim, Riyadh. Omar Balindong, community leader, was declared dead on arrival at a hospital. He was rushed after playing basketball and looking pale while resting. His remain is coordinated with the Philippine Embassy to be repatriated.
