Facebook Account Required by POEA for Recruitment Agencies Deploying HSWs

Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) recently mandated every licensed recruitment and placement agencies deploying household service workers or HSWs to have a social media account.
POEA released a memorandum that commands agencies to submit reports for HSWs status that they’ve managed to deployed for overseas jobs. It also directs these recruitment and placement agencies to have a Facebook account which will serve the following purposes: communication platform for the deployed HSWs endorsement of complaints submission of reports to POEA POEA also emphasized that the Facebook account must inform them and the HSWs about it and shall be an additional requirement for processing of HSWs in the land-based centers.
Recruitment and placement agencies must comply for it will be monitored by the Employment Services and Regulation Division (ESRD) of POEA.
