DFA: OFWs and other Pinoys Must Leave Yemen
Audrey, Jan 9, 2015
Overseas Filipino workers or OFWs had been constantly requested by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to leave Yemen. For more than year, the DFA had been calling out to all OFWs and Filipinos to depart Yemen because of the ‘continuing deterioration of the political, security and peace and order situation’. Though many OFWs have found a stable job in the country, their safety must not be compromised. OFWs had been given until November 30 last year to register for repatriation, but the DFA are still urging OFWs to reach the Crisis Management Team. OFWs who would want to be repatriated may contact the: Crisis Management Team Movenpick Hotel Sana’a Berlin Street, Sana’a, Yemen +967 73 384 4958 Mr. Mohammed Saleh Al Jamal Honorary Consul Philippine Consulate in Sana’a Hadda Area, Damascus Street, P.O.
