The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong announced in its website that the office will be closed on September 9, 2014, the day after the Mid-Autumn Festival.

And because of this, there will be no official business transactions on that day, including the issuance of Overseas Employment Certificate.  Filipinos working and staying in Hong Kong are then advised to plan and do their business matters with the office ahead of time.
