Bohol jobseekers warned against fake job ad deploying in Japan
May 16, 2014
POEA Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac has tweeted a warning about a job advertisement on a newspapaer in Bohol seeking female Filipinos to become entertainers in Japan.
The newspaper ad, posted on Bohol Sunday Post newspaper, is looking for females, 18-27 years old to be deployed as entertainers in Japan.
The POEA Chief also posted on a succeeding tweet the standard job advertisement rules, where he said that overseas job ads must show the POEA license number of the recruitment firm, the work site, principal employer and the qualifications needed for the job.
Meanwhile, to make sure that the public will only get POEA-verified and approved jobs, they may use the POEA website or download the POEA mobile app to see the latest jobs with job orders from POEA.
