Schedule of Special Licensure Exams for OFWs in Middle East Set

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that the special board exams for OFWs, or properly labelled as Special Professional Licensure Board Examination (SPLBE) will be held in the Middle East on October 3-5, 2014.
Filipinos who are graduates of certain programs but were not able to take the licensure exams prior to their acceptance of a job overseas may now take it without going back home to the Philippines.
The special board exam in October will conduct licensure examinations for the following:
- Architects
- Certified Public Accountants
- Civil Engineers
- Dentists (Written)
- Electronic Engineers
- Electronic Technicians
- Mechanical Engineers
- Master Plumbers
- Nurses
- Registered Electrical Engineers
- Registered Master Electricians
- Professional Teachers
The following locations are designated as testing centers for the SPLBE:
- Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
- Doha, Qatar
- Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Interested parties may send application for the exam through the Online Application System established by the PRC. They must also submit the required documents to the Philippine Overseas Labor Offices (POLOs) at their respective embassies and consulates until July 15, 2014.
