2014 Schedule of 10th EPS-TOPIK Announced by POEA
Apr 16, 2014
Before a Filipino skilled worker can work in South Korea, he or she must undergo and pass a Korean Language Test or what is known as Test of Proficiency in Korean or TOPIK.
The TOPIK is agreed upon by the Ministry of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea (MOEL) and the Department of Labor and Employment of the Philippines.
For this year, those who wish to work in South Korea under the Employment Permit System must pass the korean language exam first prior to getting a job in South Korea. The TOPIK may come in the form of Paper-based test (PBT) or Computer-based test (CBT). The Human Resources Development of Korea (HRD Korea) administers the TOPIK as authorized by Korea's MOEL.
The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration has announced via its website the schedule of the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) for this year.
