Dec 3, 2013
Recruitment firm International Skill Development, Inc. (ISD) expressed that they will be helping at least 500 survivors of the super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) to find work abroad without any fees to be charged.
According to Philippine Overseas Employment Authority (POEA) chair Hans Leo Cacdac, ISD is planning to recruit more than 300 workers coming from Samar and Leyte to be deployed for construction jobs under the ABV Rock Group, a construction and engineering company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Meanwhile, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz said that another recruitment agency, Skills International Co., Inc. will also "help 200 affected families by sending a family member to work abroad free of charge."
