Can You Still Work Abroad If You Have Lung Scar?
Aug 11, 2013
I applied for a job opening in Saudi Arabia and got a job offer. Unfortunately, the employment offer was canceled because my medical exam results deemed me as unfit to work. Does this mean that I have to forget about my dream to work abroad? Is there a foreign country that is not so strict in medical results? Kindly advised me as I am losing hope.
The story above may seem familiar because a clear medical exam result is a major requirement prior to overseas deployment. Often, people with lung scars or pulmonary fibrosis are still rejected even if the scar is already inactive or non-infectious.
It will not be surprising if someone with lung scar would just give up his dream to work abroad. However, this testimonial from WorkAbroad,ph might be an inspiration to those who are in the same plight.
Mr. Adimar's Story:
Mr. Adimar was hired by Cobil Recruitment Agency as an Agricultural Worker.
