Have you received an unsolicited email informing you that you have been selected for a job position in a Singapore hospital? Does the email give details about the excellent benefits that await you there? And does it say that to grab this opportunity, you need to attend  a visa-interview coaching to be conducted by Singapore-based trainers?

Recipients of such emails should ignore the message because the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) confirmed that it is one of the many email job scams that are circulating today.

The real Tan Toc Seng Hospital sent an email to POEA to inform that they will not be going to the Philippines this year to recruit medical worers. They also clarified that the email address that is stated in the email scam is not their official email.

They also said that they do not have any consultancy firm in Philippines and they do not collect money from candidates for training or coaching purposes.

The “working visa interview coaching” email scam  shows the following message:

"REMINDER: Please READ & UNDERSTAND our email message before making any call or text for inquiries, it is advisable for you to PRINT it.

After evaluation of your resume thru online job posting, we are pleased to tell you that you were chosen for the position of a Staff Nurse (Philippine Board licensed) and/or HealthCare Assistant (unlicensed Nurse & medical allied course graduate) for Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore.
