Advisory Regarding Processing of Exit Visa

The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh Saudi Arabia continues to provide assistance to Filipinos who need to process their exit clearance from Jawazat Wafideen or the Saudi Deportation Office. All undocumented Filipino workers in Saudi are advised to go to the Embassy’s Field Office at Villa 24 Umm al Hammam District for the pre-processing procedures.

The officials of Jawazat Wafideen granted the request of the Embassy to extend the deadline for the overstaying Filipinos in Saudi to correct their status. According to the Saudi Deportation Office, the schedule for the processing of exit visa of the Filipinos is every Wednesday from 8:30pm to 2:30am.

This is also the same schedule for foreign workers from the following countries: Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nepal and other Asians except those from India and Pakistan. The processing will be done together with representatives from the Embassies of the concerned countries.

The Wafideen office would accommodate exit visa applicants that can present the following documents:

·         Original iqama

·         Original passport that is used upon entry to Saudi Arabia

·         With fingerprint records in Immigration database

Everyone who needs assistance for the processing of their exit clearance is invited to go to the Field Office of the Embassy at Villa 24 Umm al Hammam District from Sunday to Thursday, 12pm to 5pm for the pre-processing procedures.       

Those who will submit documents from Sunday to Tuesday will be included for endorsement to Wafideen on Wednesday. Meanwhile, others will be endorsed on the following Wednesday depending on the assigned quota. Filipinos who do not have the requirements will be endorsed to Saudi’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ramadan Schedule and Services at Main and Um Hammam Field Office

As respect to the Holy Month of Ramadan, there will be changes in the office schedule of the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. The changes will take effect on the first day of Ramadan, July 9, 2013. The office hours will be from Sundays to Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The consular field office at Villa 24, Um Al Hamam will be open Sundays to Thursdays 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. only for the following services:

·         Mother and children documentations/DNAs

·         Marriage solemnization (by schedule)

·         Reports of birth-morning only

·         Marriage application-morning only

·         Lost passport renewal and those without appointment

·         Screening for those correcting status - Sunday to Tuesday only at 12PM onwards

Regular Consular Services shall be served at the Embassy such as the following:
Visas, Authentication and notarials, Police clearance, Passport renewal with appointment, Passport releasing for all passports (including those who applied at Elite, IPSR, Um Hammam.
