. Carry your Iqama wherever you are. Iqama fee is shouldered by your employer.
2. For household service workers, the minimum salary is $400/month as per POEA rule.
3. It is prohibited to transfer an employee to another company/workplace unless there’s a valid and legal reason behind it.
4. Each company should pay its employees’ salaries and wages on time and without any delay.
5. If a company terminates the contract of an employee, it must pay him all his financial entitlements without delay. But if an employee resigns, he must be paid within seven days of the date of leaving the job.
6. Employees are entitled for an overtime pay. Also, an employee must not be asked to work over 11 hours on the same day.
6. An employee should complete a 90-day probationary period. After his/her training, the company can either hire him/her or terminate his/her contract.
7. For household service workers, you are entitled to have a one day off. The employer should also provide her basic needs like decent shelter and food.
8. Pornographic materials and alcohol is prohibited in KSA. If you don’t want to get imprisoned, follow KSA rules.
