The Australia-China Cultural Interchange Foundation or ACCIF is reported to be luring Filipino teachers to teach English in China via internet and later on exploits these recruited teachers. The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) chief Patricia Santos warned teachers not to fall for these illegal recruiters.

DOLE gave this warning to teachers after receiving reports that teachers under contract with ACCIF have been complaining of; non payment by ACCIF of their salaries, not following the rules stipulated in their contract, etc. Contradicting stories have been aired in a website about how ACCIF treats their teachers.
