Retirement, Exchange, Foreign Government Agency, Special Program, Working Holiday, Educational, Visiting Academic, Entertainment, Sport, Medical Practitioner, Media & Film Staff, Public Lecturer, Family Relationship, Diplomatic/Executive Domestic Worker, Religious Worker, Supported Dependent, Expatriate, Occupational Trainee, New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship

What are the BASIC VISA REQUIREMENTS?
** Please note that the following requirements are only BASIC requirements. Please visit the official site of the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs for more details.
- Completed Application Form 147 – Application for a Temporary Residence (non-business) Visa – (please submit the original and one (1) photocopy of the form) You can download this form for free at the official site of the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs.
- Processing fee to be paid using a Manager’s Cheque made payable to ‘Australian Embassy’.
- Four (4) passport-sized photos for each person in the application
Submit the original and one (1) photocopy of each of the following. Certified copies are not acceptable in lieu of the originals.
- Birth certificate on National Statistics Office (NSO) security paper (SECPA) of each person in the application. You can order a copy online by clicking the National Statistics Office Link above.
- Employment certificate/contract
- Evidence of qualifications/skills
- Academic history (transcripts of academic record)
- Valid passport
- National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) certificate marked “Valid for travel to Australia”
- Approved nomination/sponsorship from the official site of the DIMIA office in Australia for the applicant and all dependants (if applicable)
- Marriage certificate (if applicable)
