Read This Nurses: How to Schedule a Prometric Exam Date

To be able to work in Saudi Arabia's healthcare industry, one is required to take the prometric examination. The prometric exam is available for nurses and other healthcare professionals who wish to get a job in Saudi Arabia. This type of exam is supervised by the Saudi Commission of Health Specialities (SCHS) so that only the most qualified healthcare professionals will be deployed to top medical institutions in Saudi.
So, if you plan on taking the prometric exam, you must schedule an exam date and pick a testing center where you want to take your prometric exam as early as now. Here's how:
1. You can schedule your exam date directly here: https://securereg3.prometric.com/Welcome.aspx
2. SELECT A PROGRAM. Select the program or test sponsor that you want to take a prometric exam for. For nurses, it should be Academic, Professional Licensure & Certification, Government, and Corporate Programs: Saudi Commission of Health Specialties (non-elig). This option is for nurses who are outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Also, select the location where you want to take your prometric exam.

3. Wait until the page refreshes and show you a series of options: Click on the first one.
4. The page will then show you an Information Review and the Privacy Policy of the Prometric. Take some time to read it as there are indormation that you may need to note down. Click “I agree” and tap “Next” to proceed. An Eligibility Information page will show up. Since you are just scheduling for a new prometric exam date, choose “No” and then tap “Next”.
5. APPOINTMENT SELECTION. You will be asked to input an appointment selection. Nurse have two options: Nurse technicians and Nurse Specialist.
Nurse Specialist- more than 3 years and beyond practice.
Nurse technician- 2 years experience
Despite the two options though, the Saudi Recruitment Office (SRO) and recruitment agencies instruct applicants to take the Nurse Technician Exam regardless of years of experience.
6. TEST CENTER SELECTION. Choose which test center you prefer to take your prometric exam. In the Philippines, prometric exams are held in Manila and Cebu. Type “Manila” or “Cebu” in the search box and you will be given the address of the prometric exam venues. Click “Schedule an Appointment”.

7. PROMETRIC BIOMETRIC CONSENT. The next page will show you a Prometric Biometric Consent where it states that examinees identity can be verified via his/her biometric details (digital fingerprint, images, photographs, etc.) You must click “I agree” and tap “Next” to proceed.
8. You may now check for schedule availability. You can schedule an exam appointment three months ahead or select an exact date of preference. The exam lasts for 2 hours, so you may see also pick a specific time (9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm.)when you want to take the exam.
9. The page will re-load and provide you an Additional Information page. Fill-out all the necessary portions. It may ask for a government-issued ID. Key in you Passport or PRC license number and to make sure, bring both during your exam schedule.
10. You can also pay for the prometric exam fee online, using a credit card. Key in the necessary information about the credit card you will use. The exam costs $90 or around Php4,069.00.
11. A summary of your input details will be showed, verify everything. Check if something is misspelled, lacking and the like. Then click COMPLETE REGISTRATION.
12. Print your appointment summary and/or save it as a portable document file (.pdf). Check youe email for an appointment confirmation.
